NOKORI SILICONE SCAR TAPE

Nokori Silicone Scar Tape

$25.00 for 1.5 metre roll

Nokori’s 100% medical grade silicone protects, flattens and softens your caesarean or abdominal scar.

Gentle compression and optimal moisture balance supports a smoother scar with less risk of raised or thickened tissue.

Comes in a 1.5 metre roll with perforations to easily create the tape length required for your scar. The tape conforms to your body’s contours, making it comfortable to wear all day or night.

When to start

Begin using the Scar Tape once your surgical dressings have been removed and your incisions are completely healed. For most people, this happens 2–3 weeks after surgery for smaller incisions, or 6–8 weeks for larger ones. If you're unsure, check with your surgeon at your post-operative appointment --- they'll confirm when your scar is ready.

Preparing your skin

Make sure the area is clean and dry before applying. If you're also using the Scar Balm, wait at least 6 hours for it to fully absorb into the skin before applying the tape. This matters --- the balm needs time to sink in, or the tape won't stick properly.

Application steps

  1. Tear or cut the tape to match the size and shape of your scar. You want enough to cover the entire line, but don't worry about being perfect --- this tape is flexible and forgiving.

  2. Remove the protective liner and carefully apply the tape along your scar line. Press gently but firmly, and let it conform to your skin. Don't stretch it as you apply --- just guide it into place.

  3. Leave the tape on for 1 to 7 days, depending on your routine (see pairing with Scar Balm below for alternating routines). When you're ready to remove it, peel it away gently. The atraumatic adhesive means it won't hurt or irritate your skin.

  4. Fresh piece each time — For best results, we recommend discarding the tape once you've removed it and using a fresh piece at your next application. This ensures optimal adhesion, hygiene, and clinical safety.

Local pick up and delivery is available in Young or with any of Hilltops Women’s Health outreach clinics.
